Conceptualizing organizational culture and business-IT alignment: a systematic literature review

Abstract For decades, business and information technology alignment has fascinated scholars practitioners. However, understanding these mechanisms is challenging. The significant role of (IT) in digitalization agile transformation calls for targeted management the readiness capability IT as an enabler strategic partner. This paper assumes that organizational culture a success factor business-IT alignment. Therefore, it aims to explore culture-alignment relationship by following research questions: What are typical characteristics, how do they contribute alignment? study conducts systematic literature review.
